Fitness is the key to a happy-balanced life.
It doesn’t matter if you prefer Yoga or power lifting, running or ballroom dancing; to work your body is to know your body. In general, we don’t know our bodies. We know our minds to be our self. We walk through life as cerebral beings, mentally relating to the world and our environment, treating our body as a mere vehicle.
However, the body, like the mind is capable of infinite possibilities. Physical activity is the access to getting in touch with who we are and what we are capable of. When we know our bodies we truly know ourselves.
In Zen practice, it is believed that you are always a student; you will always learn, and thus you will always expand your potential. When we utilize this philosophy with
our fitness practice, we suddenly join the mind and the body; we have health, we have balance, and we have created infinite possibility for ourselves.

Juliet Kaska is one of the countrys leading fitness experts, celebrity trainers, and fitness entrepreneurs. In 2005, she opened Emerson Hall Fitness (EHF) in West Hollywood, California, which quickly became the most sought after boutique gym in the Los Angeles area. In 2006 she launched her brand Zen Fitness, with partnerships throughout Los Angeles. In January 2009, she opened her latest and most exclusive location at Evo-South in downtown Los Angeles; Juliet Kaskas Zen Fitness sits 24 floors above of the city with sweeping views of the surrounding area.
Juliet is the creator of some of Hollywoods favorite fitness programs including the Bombshell Bride, Picture Perfect, Packin Lite, and the Executives Workout -- custom programs tailored to fit each clients individual needs. The upscale and discreet location of Juliets fitness centers have attracted a wide variety of Hollywood "types," from Robert Downey, Jr. to Matt Damon, Jessica Alba, and Madonna. Juliet's personal list of clients include Sting & Trudie Styler, Pink, Kate Walsh, Mischa Barton, Gerard Butler, Rachael Leigh Cook, Stacy Keibler, Samaire Armstrong, Wolfgang Puck, Luciana Damon, Kelly Rowan, Kelly Hu, Elisha Cuthbert, Camille Guaty, Kiele Sanchez, music mogul Benny Medina and philanthropist Lilly Tartikoff.
Juliet has consulted for and appeared on programs such as Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, Good Day LA, Entertainment Tonight, E! News, and Access Hollywood, and has been featured as an expert in numerous publications including Vogue, Shape, W, Self, Us Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine, and Fitness RX. She appears regularly on Extra as their on-camera fitness expert. Most recently, Juliet wrapped production on a series of videos showcasing her Red Carpet Ready Workouts in partnership with Exercise TV, (www.exercisetv.tv). Concurrently, she co-hosted the OK! Magazine Body & Soul event. In the Fall of 2008, Juliet and co-author Mark Yoblanovich published their first book, The ABCs of Happiness: Not for Children. Which became a #1 Best Seller on Amazon.com In October 2008, Juliet was honored by being asked to be a Lululemon Athletica ambassador. She was one of a few select experts appointed as a fitness and wellness panelist at the 2007 Women in Leadership Conference, and in 2006 was asked by West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land to sit on the Task Force for Wellness, an organization dedicated to promoting physical activity, preventative screenings, and core wellness. She was also was honored with a city proclamation for her contributions in the area of health and wellness.
Growing up in Pennsylvania, Juliet was always active, enjoying outdoor activities like camping, rock climbing, and hiking, as well as more classical studies such as ballet. At age 13, she was accepted into the Shore Ballet Company, an extension of Londons Royal Academy. With her extensive dance background, it was a natural fit for Juliet to become certified in Pilates, a discipline focused on core strength, elongation, and grace. When she moved to Los Angeles, she became a dual-certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise; shortly thereafter she became a certified Pilates instructor.
Upon opening her first location in 2005, Juliet immediately instituted the Team Training Method, a system which shifts the focus away from the trainer, discouraging attitudes and bravado, and giving clients the benefit of working with trainers of different styles and strengths. Trainers work together to get the client the results they want, encouraging longevity in a fitness program, conquering fitness plateaus, and promoting harmony in the gym. This Zen-fitness vision makes Juliets fitness centers stand out in body-centric LA, where gyms abound and its hard to tell one from another. Juliet prides herself on maintaining a welcoming, homey atmosphere in her facilities, a place in which trainers and clients are always comfortable, friendly and familiar, and feel like part of a fitness family.
As Juliets client body grows, so does her stellar reputation as a trainer and a leader in the fitness community. And like a good leader, she practices what she preaches, continually challenging herself, learning new trends, and expanding her knowledge of fitness. Juliet honors her body and mind every day through exercise, and encourages others to do the same.
